Simtronix Limited started in 2009 from a small office in Tabubil town by providing basic repairs to computer hardware and software, software installations and networking for individuals and organisations around the precincts of Tabubil town. Increasing demand for these services from business houses, schools, government offices and general public motivated the company to be formed by formal registration with IPA. Successfully a contract was awarded with Ok Tedi Mining Ltd to provide quality and professional Communication and Information Technology services to Ok Tedi Mining operations. The companys aspiration for taking on challenges led it into extending its scope of works into other fields including plant and equipment maintenance, minor civil works, building and construction, plus plant and equipment hire.
