Singapore Ballet

Singapore Ballet (formerly Singapore Dance Theatre) was founded by Goh Soo Khim and Anthony Then in 1988. As Singapores premier ballet company, we seek to represent, present, and share ballet in its purest and most passionate form. Singapore Ballet presents six performance seasons annually, from classical full-length ballets, to international repertory triple-bills, contemporary performances, and ballets made specially for younger audiences. The Company has raised generations of professional dancers, who have had progressive careers within the Company, and have ventured on to start their own dance-related practices. Under the strong leadership of Artistic Director Janek Schergen, Singapore Ballet has grown its diverse repertoire and artistic capabilities, year on year, with the support of its Board of Directors, dedicated donors, loyal audience members, and friends of the Company.
