Srmagrup was established in 1991; however, the experience of its founders in the beverage sector goes back to the 1950s. A mineral water spring was purchased in 1991, in the Orhaneli town of Bursa and mineral water production in returnable bottles in plastic cases began. Natural Spring Water production in polycarbonate bottles began in 1998, in the town of Sapanca, Adapazar. Plastic bottle water production began in 2004. A second water factory became operational in 2008 in Adapazar. The new Srma factory opened in August 2011, in Burdur/Eynazl. The factory which is the biggest investment in the region with its 11.400 meter square area provides employment to 300 people directly and 2000 people indirectly. Europes popular drink, Schorle was introduced to the market in October 2011.
