Sisters Academy of Baltimore

Sisters Academy of Baltimore is the only school of its kind in the greater Baltimore area: a private, faith-based, tuition-free middle school for girls from families of limited economic means. Sisters Academy of Baltimore opened in September 2004 and is co-sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, the Sisters of Bon Secours USA, the Sisters of Mercy, and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Academy enrolls students beginning in grade 5 and through grade 8. Sisters Academy is characterized by quality education, a faith-based approach, holistic education, small classes, extended school day, summer sessions, parental involvement, and support during high school. Sisters Academy is small by design and had an enrollment of 67 students in 2023-2024. All students admitted to Sisters Academy are on a scholarship.
