The Congregation of the Sisters of the Divine Savior, also known as the Salvatorian Sisters, takes its name from the Latin word for Savior, Salvator. The international religious community was co-founded by Father Francis Jordan and Mother Mary of the Apostles in Tivoli, Italy in 1888. Today the Salvatorian Sisters minister in 28 countries on five continents to make known the goodness and kindness of Jesus, Savior of the world.
