REALIZING A BRIGHT FUTURE: THE NEXT 100 YEARS START NOW! The Sivyer Steel story began over 100 years ago in Milwaukee. Operations moved to Bettendorf, Iowa in 1962 where Sivyer has produced the highest quality steel casting products for use in the global construction, energy, military, mining and transportation industries. But, earlier in this decade economic uncertainty, foreign competition and other factors resulted in weakening demand for steel casting products and a slowdown in Sivyer business volumes. In response, a pro-active management team took decisive action to re-position Sivyer and ensure the companys long-term viability. Under the protection of a bankruptcy filing in March 2018, management implemented a plan to re-structure finances, update production, and ramp-up sales efforts. The market response was favorable.
