Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation

Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) was launched in May 2015 with the mandate to pursue economic self-sufficiency without sacrificing the cultural values and integrity of the Six Nations people. SNGRDC manages Six Nations economic interests in 25 energy projects and numerous economic development opportunities in and around the Six Nations territory. SNGRDCs current energy portfolio boasts over 2.4 GW of capacity through its direct or indirect involvement in five battery storage, six solar, and 14 wind projects. SNGRDC is located on the Six Nations Reserve with over 100 employees working in Nation Enterprise (on-reserve) or the administration of Economic Interests (off-reserve) projects.
