Smart Delta Resources is a unique, cross-border partnership of companies, port, knowledge institutions, governments and network operators in the Flemish-Dutch Scheldt-Delta region. The industries in the region are diverse, complementary and among the worlds innovative leaders. They play an essential role in our daily lives. The cluster is also strongly linked to the North Sea Port port area and, with a combined added value of 12.6 billion and 106,000 jobs, is considered an important economic driver for the region. Industry in the Scheldt-Delta region operates to the highest standards worldwide. But its activities still have a considerable impact on people, nature and the environment. This has to be improved. Smart Delta Resources is therefore working together across borders towards a competitive, climate-neutral and circular industry in the Scheldt-Delta region in 2050.
