Smart Energies

Smart Energies (www.smart-energies.eu) is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) specialized in the development, financing, construction and operation of renewable projects across Europe. Smart Energies was created in 2012, as a new structure coming from former SPTI group which had had a long history in the energy market in the 20th century. Smart Energies develops a growing portfolio of solar and storage plants, with a strong focus on solar rooftops and solar park shelters (from 100 kW) in Europe (primarily in France, Italy, Greece and Nordics). At Smart Energies, we strongly believe that installing gigawatts of solar PV is possible without consuming natural, agricultural or forest land. As of April 2024, Smart Energies owns and operates more than 500 plants, and more than 160 MW in operation or under construction.
