Social Council NIT-T

The Social Council is a student body that co-ordinates all the institutes social activities. We work with the aim to identify and address social issues in the campus and student community. We assist the works of all the social clubs in the campus and help them grow. We conduct HumaNITTy - the flagship event of Social Council, wherein the council engages in a week of charitable activities to celebrate the joy of giving. HumaNITTy is the Daan Utsavs chapter in NITT. Mission: To identify and address social issue in the campus and in the student community, through impactful initiatives, solutions and events. Vision: To create a sense of social responsibility and awareness within the student community towards volunteering and self-initiating solutions to societal problems and working towards the betterment of the community
