As an artist, educator and visual communication professional I use digital media art to build bridges across cultures and differences, help communities and individuals tell their stories and create clear, meaningful messages. Miss Canadiana is a performance persona I created. She has become a Canadian icon, traveling Canada and the world since 2002. Her story has been broadcast via print, radio, television, the web and documentary films. The most important thing Ive learned from my experience as Miss Canadiana is to BE THE MESSAGE. Not just the messenger. After 16 years, I recently sharpened my Design skills for Print and Web at Toronto Image Works. Currently I am studying at Social Media Magic where I am learning how to take advantage of the latest tools and strategies of Social Media Marketing, the biggest shift since the Internet.
