Founded in 1997, Searchwiki was originally named swiki.com, a search engine with an AJAX backbone with one mission: to deliver the most relevant results as efficiently as possible. We are extremely pleased about our emerging technologies and the way they allow users to do so much more with a web search. Searchwiki offers a faster and refreshingly more efficient search experience than has been available in the past. We are also very excited about new paradigms of data availability and access: web services, data APIs, widget architectures, and the like. At the same time, we recognize the limitations of these tools, and arent afraid to build our own when necessary. Searchwiki or Swickis purpose is to bridge the gap between searchers and relevant results. As the web grows and evolves, web search needs to grow and evolve too.
