Society of Chemical Engineers, IIT (BHU) Varanasi

The Society of Chemical Engineers (SoChem) is a prestigious organisation of the Chemical Engineering department of IIT(BHU) Varanasi whose creation dates back to1945. The society is run by the students of the department for the students of the department, and provides a forum for mutual interaction and learning for students of the department. Society involves various budding chemical engineers from all over the years. Society provides a platform for students to improve their technical skills and personal development. It also aims at bringing back the experience of our esteemed alumni for the benefit of the students along with the teachers. Various activities such as workshops, GDs, and case studies, are organized by the society throughout the year for building various skills of the students.
