The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council of Pittsburgh is a Non Profit Catholic Lay Organization. The Council of Pittsburgh is made up of 98 conferences, in Beaver, Butler, Allegheny, Lawrence, and Washington Counties. Conferences are made up of individual volunteers called Vincentians, generally based in Catholic Churches. The Thrift Stores in Butler, Castle Shannon, Coraopolis, Monroeville and Swissvale support the conferences and so does our Transportation & Recycling Center in Penn Hills.
