The relationship between law and society has been the focus of our research at Lund University since 1972 when the subject Sociology of Law was established. Being the only university in Scandinavia and Europe to host undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses, we can proudly offer complete training in Sociology of Law. The Sociology of Law Department is an independent unit in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Lund University, with some 30 researchers and teachers. Each year about 400 students study our courses.
