Solutions in Hometown Connections (SHC) is a local non-profit organization working with refugees and immigrants in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. SHC supports individuals and families through a network of mentors, tutors, and community groups. Our multigenerational programs ease the family transition into new communities and build confidence and independence. SHC programs provide refugee and immigrant families with the building blocks necessary to access educational, vocational, and family programs.
