We are the first Chilean company dedicated to research, development and innovation for the Lanthanides industry, crucial elements for the global technological expansion. WHAT ARE THE LANTHANIDES? They are a group of 17 metals used in the production of cutting-edge technology, such as notebooks, smartphones, TVs and electric vehicles, along with the development of renewable energies. In addition, they allow the implementation of new machines and medical treatments that improve the quality of life of thousands of people. OUR COMPANY: After finding an important deposit of rare earths in the city of Penco, a group of professionals from the Biobio Region created a method of Lanthanides extraction, unique in the field and respectful with the environment, which made BioLantanidos the first project to develop these elements with an innovative methodology.
