SOMOSO GENERAL HOSPITAL SOMOSO General Hospital is a privately owned, level 2 secondary facility and multi-specialty hospital located in Panabo City, Philippines. It was founded on 1975 as Clinica Somoso by Dr. Caesar Somoso and Dr. Anita Somoso (couples) and grew from just a family clinic into a first established hospital in Panabo City. History On the summer of 1975, Doctors Caesar Somso and Anita Somoso (Couple) rented a 2-storey, 2 door apartments and set up a 10 bed medical clinic. At the time the facility can offer basic laboratory services (X-ray, blood examination, urinalysis, fecalysis) & primary health care. It was named as Clinica Somoso. 6 months after the inception, SSS has recognized & accredited the clinic w/ Medicare privileges. This made Clinica Somoso the first lying-in hospital in the community.
