SONIC MATTER

Online-Plattform / Festival / Radio / Event Guide SONIC MATTER was launched in 2020 following a call for proposals by Kultur Stadt Zurich and is supported by the Department of Culture with an annual contribution. The platform revitalises the void in Zurichs musical life that arose after the cancellation of the Tage fur Neue Musik Zurich. SONIC MATTER is an invitation to discover, explore and create experimental music together. As a festival in Zurich and as an online platform, we offer artists and listeners a space to engage with sound. Striking and profound, critical and sensual, energetic and contemplative - our projects enable new perceptual experiences. The SONIC MATTER Festival takes place every year at different locations in Zurich.
