South Central Ambulance Charity

South Central Ambulance Charity raises funds to support South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust working across Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire as well as supporting our Patient Transport Services in Surrey and Sussex. All money raised by our charity is used to fund services, projects and equipment that is not supplied by Government NHS funding. The NHS only funds SCAS to make sure everyone has the basic tools they need to do their jobs. Without the money we raise people in our communities would have to wait longer for help which could affect their recovery. As a charity we have three key objectives: 1. To provide equipment, uniform and training for our volunteer Community First Responders All our Community First Responders (CFRs) are volunteers. CFRs assist the Ambulance Service by attending emergency calls in the areas where they live or work.
