JCR stands for Junior Common Room, a group made up of all the undergraduate students at South College, Durham. As a brand new college, we are lucky enough to be starting many traditions from scratch and organising new societies and events. The JCR is run by a committee of elected student volunteers who give up their time to ensure the student experience is best for all. Together, they organise societies, committees and events throughout the academic year.
