South of the River Pictures was set up in November 2019 to produce striking and original scripted comedy and drama with an authored, indie sensibility. We believe that we tell stories to discover who we are. And that we must therefore hear not just brilliant and well-established voices, but previously unheard ones too. We want to find unique narratives that have something to say about the world we live in. We want to take risks, and to protect the vision of all those we work with
