Southkent Veterinary Hospital

Southkent is a mixed animal veterinary practice that was started over 60 years ago by Dr. Wayne Finkbeiner. We have separated the farm animal from the companion animal medicine to better serve our clients and patients. Our main hospital is in Caledonia. The farm service veterinarians and the majority of companion animal veterinarians are in Caledonia. We also have a hospital in Byron Center. We strive to give the best possible medical treatment at a reasonable price. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facilities include a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and Caledonia has indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas
