We are passionate about people, passionate about reducing inequality and passionate about making a difference to the lives of individuals within our communities. In the last five years we have grown our turnover of 500k to 2m. Our core areas are start-up businesses, training, health & wellbeing, community development and young people. We have now expanded into community-led housing projects. We run the Greenway Centre, Southmead Youth Centre and The Ranch, Southmeads adventure playground. The Trust was a lead partner in the Southmead Community Plan, an initiative by residents and community stakeholders to benefit Southmead. The community plan has shaped positive changes in the neighbourhood and attracted well needed funding. SDT continues to be the trusted organisation to lead on the community plan.
