Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission

Our organization serves 10 counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We keep the region connected and moving forward by helping to plan for its future. As the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Local Development District (LDD), and Economic Development District (EDD) for Southwestern Pennsylvania, we serve Allegheny (including the City of Pittsburgh), Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. We work with government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels, as well as non-profit organizations and community groups.
