Sparkles began over a kitchen table in 2006 when its founder and now managing director, Lucy Lippolis, first conceived the idea of creating a party business with a difference. Having worked with children in a variety of settings since completing her training in childhood studies, she had already built up a wealth of experience working in many areas of the field with a variety of different needs. Her concept was to provide a completely coordinated childrens party planning service, offering a range of themes suitable for different ages and preferences. The two-hour packages come as a complete service making them a very popular option with parents for whom the stress of organising is removed.
