ALTENLOH, BRINCK & CO was founded in Ennepetal as early as in 1823 and started the first industrial production of screws in Germany in what today is the factory of SPAX International. The subsidiary site in Gevelsberg todays ABC Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1912, and the third corporate division, AZ Ausrustung und Zubehor GmbH & Co. KG, was incorporated into the group in 1991.
