Special Beginnings Birth & Womens Center

A free-standing birth center where Certified Nurse Midwives provide prenatal, birth, postpartum and well woman/ gynecological care, including family planning services. Families may choose home-like birth center or Anne Arundel Medical Center for setting of birth attended by our midwives. Waterbirth is an option for the families birthing at the center. We have an on-site Breastfeeding Boutique which carries pumps, garments, bras and almost anything the nursing mom might need
