Special Education Foundation

Our Mission: The Special Education Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(3)(c) organization whose mission is to assist children with disabilities in St. Louis County to achieve success in areas not supported by tax dollars. Our Vision: The Special Education Foundations successful, cutting-edge programs will positively impact students with disabilities. We will collaborate with Special School District of St. Louis County to understand areas of need. We will continue to increase our annual revenue in order to provide more services. We will be recognized as an effective organization within our community and region. Today, more than 16 percent of St. Louis County students receive special education services. Special education is costly; having a disability is expensive. As a result, additional resources are necessary to provide for the students many needs.
