Spierings Orthopaedics

Spierings was founded in 1992 as a medical engineering company. It develops implants and instruments for orthopedic surgery and since 2011 also for the donor processing industry. Spierings philosophy is the development of sustainable products in a market where single-use is increasingly becoming the norm. Quality is crucial during the development and production of medical instruments. Spierings is an expert in this field with almost 30 years of experience. During the first decade, Spierings was mainly involved in the development of hip implants, surgical instruments, resorbable cement restrictors and the testing of bone cement. After that, Spierings started with the manufacturing of their own products such as the REX Cement Stop and the Noviomagus Bone Mill.
