The Surveillance and ProxImity operations REsearch (SPIRE) team of Politecnico di Milano is committed to supporting the ongoing international effort towards space traffic monitoring and to developing technologies for in-orbit servicing of satellites. Research activities include: - space object monitoring and cataloguing - support to reentry, fragmentation and collision avoidance services - manoeuvre detection and characterisation - relative spacecraft guidance and navigation - guidance and control of robotic manipulators - onboard operation scheduling
