S&S Manufacturing began operation in 1985 after Steven E. Silverman completed 12 successful years at a New York City iron subcontractor. During his time at the iron shop, Steven realized the need for a non-ferrous railing shop equal in quality and service to the iron shops in New York. He set out to become a single source supplier of non-ferrous railings to the construction trade.
