SSGS DEGREE COLLEGE

It was in 1980, when the confabulations among nine members precipitated into forming an educational society, which was Christened after Swamy : SRI SANKARANDA GIRI and finally it emerged as SRI SANKARANANDA GIRI SWAMY EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. At the out set, this educational society envisaged an easy and affordable access of collegiate education to every rank and file in and around the vicinity of Guntakal town. Leaving no room for delay, the society initiated an action plan to give shape to their long cherished objective of Education to all those devoid of it. It made a humble beginning with Junior college established in 1982 with just 72 student strength in the first year. Subsequently, the society mooted the idea of a Degree college for enabling these students to continue their studies and prosecute their Degrees.
