These include fine bubble diffusers, coarse bubble diffusers, and aeration systems. Our wastewater process division specializes in the moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) and integrated fixed-film activated sludge (IFAS) processes. We focus on solutions for both industrial wastewater treatment plants and sewage treatment plants. We founded the company in 1995 in Poughkeepsie, New York. It produced its first fine bubble diffusers in 1997. Since then, and for over 20 years, SSI has specialized in the rapid advancement of secondary biological wastewater treatment through R&D.
