St Bedes Catholic Primary School

At St Bedes we believe that a Catholic education should form a child, so that the gifts they have been given by God can be nurtured. That child can then give those same gifts back to the world, in order to help to transform it for the good of all. We aim to help our children to grow in faith and to develop a personal relationship with Jesus, through the growth of their individual spirituality, Christian understanding and appreciation of prayer. We educate our children in more than the academic; we educate them to be rounded individuals who are selfless and sympathetic to the needs of others. Our pupils should understand that people can be different in variety of ways, but all are equally loved in the eyes of God. They should appreciate the beauty and value of the natural environment which is Gods gift to us
