St. Croix Regional Family Health Center

The St. Croix Regional Family Health Center (SCRFHC) is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC). We are a private, nonprofit organization, which has been providing health care since 1991. No one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay. We offer discounts based on family size and income. The Health Center was founded in 1991 after a group of concerned citizens met in the kitchen of one of the present Board members to seek a resolution to the virtually complete absence of primary care services in Northern Washington County. The original health center was located in rented space on the main street and had one medical provider, a nurse, and a receptionist. The volume of patients seeking care soon required expansion, however, and funds were eventually raised to build a new health center at the current location on Mill Street in 1998.
