St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) A social, non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization that operates under the patronage of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East and is directly affiliated with His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, and under the direction of His Eminence Bishop Mor Boutros Kassis and Executive Director Mr. Hisham Saad. EPDC started providing its humanitarian services with a small number of people who responded quickly to our Iraqi brothers since 2003 by providing aid and relief work. EPDC was licensed as a non-governmental, non-profit organization in 2014, aiming to meet the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people without any religious, ethnic, regional, or sectarian discrimination.
