St Vincent Meals on Wheels

The mission of St. Vincent Meals on Wheels is to prepare and deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors and other vulnerable residents across Los Angeles, regardless of age, illness, disability, race, religion, or ability to pay. Every month, our team of staff and volunteers deliver over 70,000 meals to Angelenos who are at risk of hunger and loneliness. For many of our seniors, the meal deliveries, wellness checks and friendly calls are a lifeline. St. Vincent Meals on Wheels is a ministry of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Founded in 1977, by Sister Alice Marie Quinn, D.C., St. Vincent Meals on Wheels has delivered food and love to thousands in need each year. The dedicated members of the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels staff continue to make heroic efforts to serve L.A.s seniors.
