StageOne Family Theatre fosters empathy and sparks the imagination of children and their communities through the transformative power of live theatre. As Louisvilles oldest professional theatre company, StageOne Family Theatre has served as the gateway to the performing arts for more than 3 million area children across our 73-year history. We believe live theatre is essential to the development of every human being, especially children. Therefore StageOne Family Theatre removes financial, cultural or geographic barriers to the performing arts. Through our ticket underwriting program Play it Forward thousands of future arts patrons have their first Theatre experience with StageOne.
