EA ECNIS is government agency under the body of Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications (MTITC). Main duty is to provide Internet services to all government administration among the country. Currently EA ECNIS is beneficent of significant IT project by EC funding. In domestic area the Agency is playing main rule in managing Bulgarian CERT center, Super computing center (Bulgarian Blue Gene), and Bulgarian Korean IT cooperation center (ITCC).
