STEM Ambassadors

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from a wide range of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related jobs and disciplines across the UK. They offer their time and enthusiasm to help bring STEM subjects to life and demonstrate their value in life and careers for over 3 million young people across the UK. Delivering over 350,000 volunteering hours in the last year alone, STEM Ambassadors are an important, free-of-charge resource for teachers and other individuals working with young people both in and outside of the classroom. Our aim is to ensure that every young person within the UK has the chance to be inspired and engaged with STEM subjects by accessing support from STEM Ambassadors UK. To help us achieve this goal it is important for our STEM Ambassadors to provide a representative and diverse reflection of STEM that challenges existing stereotypes.
