STEM Education Development Foundation (SEDF)

Stem Education Development Foundation (SEDF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2017 with the sole aim of encouraging and developing genuine interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) among Nigerian students. The initiative was born out of the desire to see Nigeria catch up with the spate of global investment and advancement in STEM. Stem Education Development Foundation (SEDF) have over the years invested heavily in the promotion of Biology as a sub-field of science among secondary school students, through a now popular programme titled CELL IS LIFE. We have under the CELL is Life (BIOLOGY FOCUSED) project encouraged and rewarded academic excellence through our annual inter-secondary school Biology quiz competition. We have among other things disbursed scholarships to indigent but intelligent students to prevent them from dropping out of school.
