Step One Charity

Established in 1937, Step One is a registered charity with over 85 years experience supporting people across Devon with their mental health, learning disabilities and neurodiversity, to take control of their future and fulfil their potential. We are a charity motivated by seeing people making progress. We work positively with people to identify their individual needs and support them to manage their wellbeing and take positive steps forward. Our diverse services and teams have expertise ranging from mental health rehabilitation and recovery, to one-to-one enabling support and employment mentoring. We consider a persons wider wellbeing which could be affecting their mental health, their ability to work or be a part of their community. We have many years experience in providing specialist support and adapting what we do to meet peoples needs in the most effective way.
