The Rhiza Foundation develops underprivileged children and youth towards a self-sustainable and humane life. Rhiza does this through projects regarding education, healthcare, skills development and enterprise development. The necessity of the projects is enormous, mainly in the townships / slumps where facilities and opportunities to grow which we take for granted are absent. Rhiza always works towards self-sustainability, because: 1 It is important that the beneficiaries become able to stand on their own two feet 2 After reaching self-sustainability Rhiza does not have to pay for any costs of the project and is therefore able to start a new project....
