On July 1st, 2023, the EPR for Textiles Decree entered into force. All companies who professionally release textiles (consumer clothing, work & corporate wear, bed-, table- and household linen) on the Dutch market have been made responsible for achieving new objectives for the reuse and recycling of discarded textiles. Stichting UPV Textiel supports producers and importers with their individual EPR obligations, by collectively organising the collection, reuse and recycling of discarded textiles.
