Stonewater started in 2002 as a kitchen and bath remodeling company in southeast Texas. When Hurricane Ike caused significant damage to the community and the surrounding areas, Stonewater expanded operations to meet disaster recovery needs. Stonewater worked with the Port Arthur Housing Authority to reconstruct 50 units damaged by Ike. We worked alongside the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission to complete 301 reconstruction projects and 60 rehabilitation projects in two phases of a disaster recovery program.
