Strategic Capacity Group (SCG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the ability of the United States and its partners to build strategic security sector capacity both at home and abroad. SCG was founded by Dr. Querine Hanlon in 2013 to provide a solution. Despite billions of dollars in security assistance provided by international donors, recipient countries continue to lack the necessary capabilities to protect their citizens and contain terrorism, organized crime, and other sources of instability.
