Street Child of Liberia - SCoL- is a local non governmental organization that works to empower vulnerable children through education, Child Protection and Family Livelihood. Our Purpose is to see all Children Safe, in School and Learning. Street Child started working in Liberia in 2013. Helping street-connected children in the capital of Monrovia. When Liberia was hit by the Ebola Crisis, we expanded our work to support the thousands of Children impacted by Ebola to go to school. Street Child is now working in three regions across Liberia: Montserrado, Margibi and Maryland counties. having reached over 37,000 out of school children, Street Child continues to work side by side with rural communities to kick-start and transform education through classroom construction, investment in training and development of teachers, and the development of community advocacy and sustainability strategies.
