Studio Zmei

Studio Zmei is an animation studio founded in Sofia in 2015. One of its main goals is to help the development of the animation industry in Bulgaria by working on major international projects and applying the experience gained on its original projects. The Studio was established to fulfill The Golden Apple project - the first animated series based on the Bulgarian folklore, which won the support of a major French producer and is developing in negotiations for the first season. In 2018, Studio Zmei began work on its first international project - I Elvis Riboldi - an animated series, a co-production between Spain and France, for which our team created more than 90 minutes of animation. The production has been broadcast in 130 countries on Cartoon Network and Disney Channel.
