Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited (SMTB) is a Japanese banking corporation licensed under Japanese law to engage in trust and banking business. It was created in April 2012 following the merger of two major financial Japanese institutions, The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Group and Chuo Mitsui Trust Group.
